Printing and Book Arts: Working Hand in Hand     New Class!

Participants should have a beginning knowledge of book binding. Students will learn to use a press to create mono prints and explore other printmaking techniques used in making artists books. Moving on to the structure of books, students will explore several ways to create book pages that open and move in creative directions.

Introduction to Weaving with Jen Neal Studio

This workshop is in connection with the Pierro Gallery exhibition Cut Loose on view September 21- October 21, 2017 and is taught by one of the exhibiting artists. A guided tour of the exhibition is included in the workshop. Join us for a 3 hour lesson to learn how to create your own woven wall hanging. The $75 materials fee will include: your very own beautifully crafted handmade loom made by an artisan in upstate NY, a weaving sword and 2 shuttles, a dowel rod, warp fibers, needles, a pair of scissors and all the fibers you will need to finish your first piece.
