Aging well can be the climax of a life well lived, wise and full. Discover some depths of this goal and consider changes that can help you achieve a more meaningful elderhood. You are never too young or too old to explore these possibilities. The instructor, E. Betty Levin MA is a 91 year old psychotherapist, psychoanalyst, lecturer, author, clinical philosopher and peace educator.

    GIANT HOLIDAY SALE!

The Friends of the South Orange Public Library invite you to our fourth annual Giant Holiday Sale, at the Library, 65 Scotland Rd, South Orange, NJ 07079.

On entering the main reading room you will see an array of fascinating crafts from jewelry to accessories to plants artfully nestled among the bookshelves and colorful holiday decorations. This year we will have a potter and an artisan who makes jewelry from carved foreign coins.

We anticipate over 20 local vendors will participate. There is no charge for a table and the Friends provide the table, tablecloths and room decorations. The vendors donate 20% of their profit that day to the Friends to help fund our many projects

Not only will you be able to select truly beautiful, unusual gifts--many one of a kind--at reasonable prices, but you will also have the opportunity to meet their creators. You will have a painless shopping experience, learn about techniques that turn every day items into works of art and, most important, by avoiding the malls keep the community's hard-earned dollars in South Orange.
