Senior Fitness 
In this senior fitness class,participants will work on increasing flexibility and strength, improving balance and posture and reducing stress.  Using soft fitness balls, light weights and resistance bands, participants work through a variety of exercises which focus on improving overall stamina and well-being. Both standing and seated positions are used and all exercises can be modified to accommodate personal limitations.

Chair Yoga
Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced while sitting in a chair.  It adapts traditional yoga poses so that they can be done making yoga more accessible for people who cannot stand for long periods of time.  As in traditional yoga classes, chair yoga helps to deepen flexibility, strengthen personal body awareness and improve physical and mental fitness. It has helped people with symptoms of health issues such as hypertension, anxiety, fatigue, the general effects of aging as well as those living with and recovering from illness.  As with all fitness classes, participants may want to consult their physician when starting a new exercise routine.
