Health and fitness are extremely important to everyone, regardless of age.  Maplewood and South Orange offer a full range of health screenings and fitness classes specifically for seniors.  

 Health Departments
The local health departments have a wealth of resources and information to help residents live healthier lives.  Each town holds regular health screenings that are free and open to all adult residents. 

Regularly scheduled  screenings are:

Monthly Blood Pressure Clinics
3rd Thursday of every month
9:30 – 11:00 a.m. at the Baird Center (at 5 Mead Street)

Maplewood
Maplewood offers adult health screenings, medication counseling, blood pressure, carotid bruit and diabetes risk screenings at three locations:
